With this transition, we again shift our focus to the upcoming fall, and the many new memories waiting to be made with our family, friends, and new acquaintances that have come into our lives this year.While the temperatures begin to drop, and the leaves, seemingly on Que, begin to turn to their familiar red, orange, and yellow hues, we all begin to realize that our calendars are inevitably filling up fast with activities that are seemingly geared towards quality time with our loved ones; as we begin the always rushed preparations for another winter season of giving and love; who’s spirit is only a few short months away.In actually realizing the limited time that our busy lives allow us, we compiled a helpful list of the must see and do events this coming fall, in order to take full advantage of the opportunities to create lasting memories with the cherished ones in our lives. Hours are from 8am – 6pm, and continues on Sunday, September 30th and also the following weekend, Saturday, October 6th and Sunday, October 7th.The activities kickoff with the Louisburg Lions Pancake Breakfast from 8:30am – 11am on Saturday the 29th. Other activities include: Live music beginning at 11am, cider and donut-making, pony rides, and inflatable slide ongoing throughout the day until 6 pm. The Ciderfest also features craft booths, gift & collectible vendors, and multiple BBQ and food vendors. There is no admission or parking fees to attend Ciderfest. This coming season is no different from those of the past, as our local pro and collegiate teams once again take the field, to prove that their gridiron glories will go down in the history books as being the greatest teams of all time.While this unfortunately always seems to be an ever elusive goal for each of our local teams, the thrill for us fans still remains with each new season, and with it, comes the enjoyment of these events that we’ve made into lasting traditions for so many of us, from all walks of life.
